Pre-Submission Consultation, Autumn 2018

The full Neighbourhood Plan is almost ready to be submitted for independent examination – but not before you have had your say. This consultation on the Plan starts from 22nd Sept and closes on 3rd Nov 2018 and you can comment at any time before it closes.

This is the final chance to have your say on the content of the Plan before it is submitted to the independent Examiner.

There are more details in the short Consultation Leaflet which explains this formal six-week public Pre-Submission Consultation process.

You can view or download the Shadwell Neighbourhood Pre-submission Draft Plan together with Associated Maps, and there are copies to read at the Library and also at the Post Office/village shop.

You can submit comments online using the Draft Neighbourhood Plan Feedback Form. Alternatively, you can a complete a paper version of the feedback form and leave it at the Library or at the Post Office/village shop. Copies of the feedback form will also be available at the Library. But remember that comments must be submitted by 3rd Nov 2018.

You are also invited to attend a drop-in event where members of the steering group will be on hand to answer any questions. This will be held at Shadwell Independent Library on 20th Oct 2018 from 10am to 1pm. Free coffee, tea and biscuits will be provided.

Shadwell Neighbourhood Plan, Public Consultation

10:00 to 12:00, 7 April 2018, at Shadwell Library

This is your opportunity to give your opinion on the policy intentions for the draft plan, and draft policies. These policies are the means by which we can help to achieve the agreed vision for Shadwell in future.

The latest draft document "Shadwell NP Policy Intentions April 2018" and also "Shadwell NP Draft Maps" are now available to view and download from Documents above.

Community Walkabout

Join us on a Community Walkabout on Saturday 2nd December 2017. Meet at the Library, 10am.

Led by our consultant, planner and architect Peter Baker, we will be looking at what is important about the village character, its features and facilities, and how they can be maintained and improved. This is an opportunity to help shape the details of the Neighbourhood Plan, which will guide future changes to Shadwell.
