MINUTES

1. Apologies for absence

3. To agree NP Policies, Evidence & Tasks

Peter presented policies, evidence and tasks documents.  This was agreed.  UD1 and UD2 covered anything special in Shadwell which is not covered by general policies. DT to keep Peter Baker informed on Holywell Lane CA triangle.  This should go to consultation in September. 

The present Conservation Area plus Holywell Lane Triangle is covered by present policies.

E2 JT to find TPO map.  May need to walk around the area

E3 Designate Open Green Spaces:  Evidence required.  Criteria: 1. Not a large tract of land.  2.  Reasonable accessible.  3.  Should have a local significance. Areas suggested:  Pitts Wood, Dan Quarry, Village Green, Churchyard, Allotments, Bus Terminus, Ridge and furrow field. 

C1 and C2 to be projects.

C3 Parish Council?  Should buildings by registered as Assets of Community Value.  Properties suggested are Village Hall, Recreational Centre, Scout Hut, Red Lion, Post Office, Library, St Pauls, Methodist Chapel.

T1 Project.

S1 and S2 – PB to consider

4. Project Plan

This was agreed. It was noted that the Steering Group would need to take actions as required. 

5. Grant Funding

JT to explore possible funding.

6. Website

Shadwell Parish Council Clerk has sent letter to SG asking for the passwords, etc, for the Website. This will be followed up.
